It’s official! After several years of planning and searching, Skillability is thrilled to announce our new Aiken Road facility will open this spring.
It had started to feel impossible to find the location and standards for a new home for SST. In the true spirit of our community, it was an SST parent who connected us with a developer.
The new construction facility should be completed this April and includes 12,000 square feet, a large field divided into smaller fields, brand new turf, a great new (large!) viewing area with televisions and cozy seating, and double bathrooms.
With this facility we’ll be able to double the number of 1on1 training we currently offer (for those reading this currently on the waitlist, we will be ready for you!). It also gives us the large field for Small Group Training, Open Gyms, U6-U8 Cubs and potentially even league play.
This home base is key to SST's future and a big step in our desired direction. In addition to full control over scheduling, it also gives us wonderful flexibility -- we will continue to use our Middletown location with this new Aiken Road facility.
